… I am writing to express my heartfelt appreciation for the outstanding organization of the recent project ‘Kindness City-School’ and to convey my utmost gratitude for providing a platform that allowed our students to showcase their talents and excel. I am delighted to share the wonderful news that our students participated in the competition with great enthusiasm and dedication, and they emerged as 2nd prize winners! This achievement is a testament to the efforts and commitment put forth by both the participants and your team. Our students were thrilled to be a part of this enriching experience, where they had the opportunity to compete alongside their peers from various schools. We look forward to future opportunities to participate in similar events that foster the growth and success of our students. (Leibaklotpi Chingakham, librarian, Global School, Abu Dabi, UAE)
A very unexpected win; thank you; it’s a great honor for us. We participated in this project simply because of the wonderful idea, and the project itself was a gift to us… I can’t wait to share the news with the whole school. (Audinga Buciene, teacher, Vievis Primary School, Lithuania).
Oh my gosh! I could have never expected this! Thank you so much! This means a lot to me. I am from a small village that isn’t well known so this just proves that no matter anything, you can still win and leave a mark in the world…(Kotryna T., 13 years old, Lithuania).
What a surprise!!! Thank you so much!!! We are so happy!!!!!! Thank you for your work!!! This is amazing! (Luisa Colapinto, educator, Parco della Lentezza, Italy).
… I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude for your warm congratulations and encouraging words for my daughter’s recent achievement in winning the 2nd prize… Your recognition means a lot to her and serves as further motivation to continue her efforts in spreading kindness and making a positive impact on the community… I also want to happily inform you that my daughter is fully excited about the prize money received and is willing to spend it on charity work and acts of kindness. We ask participants: Imagine that overnight your school is transformed into a mini–Kindness City with its own mayor, City Hall, lanes, streets, avenues, squares, recreation places, information services, cafeterias, libraries, museums, residential neighborhoods, sports facilities, and the like. Such a “City” might also have its own tour guides and city maps. Please demonstrate verbally or visually what you will see, hear, taste, and smell, and how you will feel when entering and going to school in this Kindness City.

The overarching goal is to create and present a project of a mini-Kindness city-school with its own specific culture where daily acts of kindness are recognized and promoted as the only norm of behavior. Describe a city that provides all necessary conditions for students and adults to express their kindness in diverse age-, gender-, ethnicity-, and culture- appropriate and inclusive ways; a city that poses challenges and opportunities to become kinder and more compassionate to its entire “population.”

Don’t be shy, use your rich imagination to create and present your project. Join this contest and make a submission by December 31,  January, 15, 2024. Winners will be announced by February 15, 2024. Regardless of the results, each participant will receive a Certificate of Participation.

You will compete to win three prizes in each of three age categories:

1st Prize $150.00

2nd Prize $100.00

3rd Prize $50.00
